Tecno unveiled the remarkably robust Camon 30 series at the MWC in Barcelona, and we’ve been eagerly anticipating the chance to review these phones ever since. Following the flagship cameraphone, the Camon 30 Premier, it’s now time to introduce the Camon 30 Pro.
The Tecno Camon 30 Pro is a powerful smartphone featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset. It boasts a large 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Available configurations include 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
Similar to the other models in the Camon 30 series, the Camon 30 Pro has a distinctive design, characterized by a unique snowy texture with a leather-like finish. It also includes an indicator light next to the camera and its flash.
In addition to its sleek design, impressive screen, and powerful chipset, the Tecno Camon 30 Pro features a trio of 50MP cameras: the main and ultrawide cameras on the back, and the selfie camera on the front, all equipped with autofocus capabilities.
The Camon 30 Pro is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 70W fast charging. It runs on the latest Android 14 OS with the HiOS 14 skin.

The Camon 30 Pro also boasts Dolby Atmos-capable stereo speakers and includes handy features such as an IR blaster, FM radio, and an under-display fingerprint scanner, among others.
However, the Camon 30 Pro lacks ingress protection, which would have been a valuable addition even at a basic level.
