Samsung’s M series phones have a reputation for offering good value for money, and the new Galaxy M55 5G continues this trend. However, it introduces several firsts for the M-series, including an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also the first Galaxy M series phone to support 45W fast charging. Featuring a slim design, the Galaxy M55 5G is mostly an upgrade to last year’s Galaxy M54 5G. After using the phone for about a week, I find it to be an excellent mid-range smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is available in India starting at Rs. 26,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Other options include an 8GB + 256GB model priced at Rs. 29,999, and a 12GB RAM + 256GB model for Rs. 32,999. For our review, Samsung provided the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
