The Honor 200 trio initially debuted in China, but now the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are making their way to global markets, joining the previously announced Honor 200 Lite. Today, we review the Honor 200 Pro, a device that seems too impressive to remain exclusive to China.
The Honor 200 Pro arrives just six months after the Honor 100 Pro, which itself followed the 90 Pro by six months. In Europe, only the standard Honor 90 was available, making the 200 Pro a significant upgrade.
The new Honor 200 Pro arrives with several upgrades, including a new chipset, a brighter display, and advanced sensors for the primary and telephoto cameras. It also boasts an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The Honor 200 Pro features a premium 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1224p resolution, 1 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a small pill-shaped notch. Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, it comes with ample RAM and storage.
The camera setup is a highlight of the Honor 200 Pro. It includes three rear cameras: a 50MP primary camera with a new custom large sensor, a 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens, and a 12MP autofocus ultrawide camera. Honor places great importance on portrait selfies, equipping the front with a 50MP camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Rounding out the impressive specs is a 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging, 66W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

Both the Honor 90 Pro and 100 Pro featured Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chipsets at their respective times of release. In contrast, the Honor 200 Pro comes equipped with a more streamlined “s” version of the Gen 3 chipset. This choice is curious, especially given that the 8s Gen 3 is expected to be less powerful than the 8 Gen 2 found in the Honor 100 Pro. We will delve into this further in our performance section.
