- The iPhone 15 series launch could be delayed by a few weeks.
- It could now be pushed to the fourth quarter which starts in October.
- Apple is also reportedly facing issues with the display size of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Apple usually launches its new iPhones in September but this time it could be delayed by a few weeks. According to reports, Apple might push the iPhone 15 series launch to October. There could also be limited supply of the iPhone 15 models when they debut later this year. Apple has seen delays in the past with its new iPhones so this wouldn’t be the first time.
iPhone 15 series launch:-
According to a report by MacRumors, Wamsi Mohan, a global securities analyst at Bank of America said that the launch could be pushed to the fourth quarter. This would mean between October and December but most likely the former. This prediction was made after conducting channel checks in Apple’s supply chain but there was no specific reason given behind the delay.
Apple could be facing another issue, and this has to do with limited availability of iPhone models at launch. In particular, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a limited number of units at launch, according to a report by The Information (via MacRumors). The reason behind this is due to the slimmer bezels that are planned for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
This issue also hints at a possible delay of the new iPhones but the report suggests that Apple will continue with the September launch. The only problem would be that there would be limited units of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max at launch. These are two contradicting reports when it comes to the possible launch timeline of the iPhone 15 series. But we should see new iPhones latest by October this year.
